Another great session for both Anna and Quinn. Anna has been having a great week and has been playing better than ever. Her confidence is very high and she is sight reading her notes very well.

Quinn is showing improvement in his chord fingering technique in that his chords are sustaining nicely and he is getting good note clarity from them. We are still working on smoothing out the changes between chords, which will come with time and practice.

Anna and Quinn and I researched the decision-making process regarding which bird would be the national symbol. We found that Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national symbol. John Adams' idea for the bald eagle won the most votes.

The first part of class we picked out funny animal poses from handouts I had and did the yoga poses. The second part of class we went to the exercise park and playground. We also did some tree poses next to the trees in the park. Today is the last day I will have Anna and Quinn in this school year, as I will not be at school next Friday. Both Anna and Quinn did well with listening and following directions. They fully participated in class.
