I read a fantasy story out loud. Anna and Quinn listened and predicted next events and we discussed character analyses. They also were able to correctly identify what genre the story was and why.
Quinn and Anna both independently read a short story and then wrote a summary using the key words first, next, then and last. We discussed the use of adjectives and contractions. I am so impressed with their writing skills!
Go over page F49, and discuss the questions. Summarizing the lesson: write the map "using magnets" and fill in the blanks. Use magnets as help for reviewing.
