Quinn- TTRS typing- Read a story that used contractions and discussed the meaning.
Anna- Read a short story and wrote first, next, then and last sentences about the story. Anna also read a mystery and changes the clues to rewrite the ending of the mystery. I am so impressed at how far her writing has come!
Students will be given a quantity and one of its parts, and then will find the missing part by counting on or counting back. They will know that there are more than one way to do a mental calculation.
We finished reading a book about the Liberty Bell. We discussed the meaning and history of the Liberty Bell. Quinn and Anna began a United States Symbols project.
Explore and classify things attracted to magnets. Describe magnets and their pulling strengths. Understand poles of a magnet and define the term repel.
Anna- Grammar- adjectives - Anna identified them in sentences and added her own in sentences she created. Anna read a mystery story and identified the clues in the story to help solve the mystery.
Quinn - Typing- Grammar- contractions- used them correctly in a sentence. Read a story out loud and practiced fluency.
Quinn was at the doctor during this visit. Ana and I watched number videos then practiced playing some number games. After this, we reviewed family members by reading a book named "La familia de iso."
Test, four pages. Vocabulary. Force, fulcrum, simple machines, lever, ramp, gravity. Beside questions, students had to draw simple machines: lever and ramp.

Both did great job on test, 100%. Anna wanted to draw a dog, but didn't come out how she wanted and she was crying,
Using paper and pencil to add 2 three- digit numbers with regrouping. Students will understand that addition algorithm for three- digit numbers breaks the calculation into simpler calculations using place value., starting with the ones, then the tens, and then the hundreds.
