Quinn- Grammar- was-were, contractions
Anna- Grammar- synonyms- antonyms, was- were, Read a book then discussed first, next, then and last. Anna started writing sentences about these.
Anna- Finished typing Mother's Day poem. TTRS typing lesson.
Quinn- Finished writing and typed Mother's Day poem.
Together they crafted cards to present poems to mom.
Quinn finished the spelling and listening section. He is done with testing!!! I am so proud of him!!
Anna- She started brainstorming for a paragraph about mom. She came up with lots of fun ideas.
I presented a lesson on compound words to Quinn and Anna. We brainstormed some compound words, then I had them use dictionaries to find compound words. These were recorded on the white board. They then each wrote a part of of compound word on note card and we played several games using the note cards.
