Chess

Today was one of the best days of chess Anna and Quinn have had. They played and entire game that lasted almost the whole session. Anna started to lose focus toward the end, but managed to keep it together. They're behavior was excellent and I was very pleased with the day.

We reviewed the colonies, colonists, reasons for location of colonies, and reasons for the Pilgrims leaving England. I presented a lesson on the colonists rebelling against King George. We discussed the beginning of the Revolutionary War and George Washington's role.

Continued testing Quinn today on the reading section of the test. He was much calmer today and we buddy read the passages.

Quinn was sick
Anna- She read a story and then read an example of a similar writing. Anna then created an original writing using the same format. I was proud of how Anna came up with original ideas and wrote about them.

Completion of Technique #1 and revision of Block Routine 1 and 2. Sparring Drills, Core strengthening exercises. Bag work.
