Anna-Raz-Kids- Listen, read and comprehend. Anna is able to listen to a story then read it on her own and answer comprehension questions about the story. She also worked on reading and spelling contractions.
The full school picture cut into our class, and by the time we got in the room, Anna and Quinn were very excited and amped up. It took me 10 minutes just to get them calmed down and focused, and by then, there wasn't enough time play a full game.

Quinn, Anna and I reviewed the sailing of the Mayflower. We moved on to the introduction of the 13 original English colonies. They began an assignment which included labeling the New England, Middle, and Southern colonies. We also discussed Plymouth and Jamestown which they labeled on their maps.
Identify and show a unit fraction of a region. Discuss that a fraction describes the division of a whole into equal parts. A unit fraction names one of the equal parts. The bottom number in a fraction tells how many equal parts the whole divided into. The top number tells how many equal parts are indicated.
Explore and communicate how heat can change matter. Understand how water can change states by freezing and evaporating. Identify how heat energy can be used, including fuels. Activity: make frozen juice.
Determine whether a shape has been divided into equal or unequal parts. If the parts are equal, students will count the number of parts. They will understands that a region can be divided into equal sized parts in different ways.
