Today, Anna and Quinn completed the last lesson in chapter 2. Lesson 2-10 focused on drawing a picture to solve a problem. Anna and Quinn began class by doing a review of rounding to the tens place, rounding to the hundreds place, adding 3 numbers and adding 4 numbers on the board. They each completed the problems of the day and textbook lesson. They each scored a 4/4 on the reteach worksheet. They finished class by practicing their skills on Sumdog!
Today Anna and Quinn continued to work on their cityscape. They assembled all of the pumpkins that they made last class and placed them into the now dry pumpkin patch. Next, they traced, cutout and glued down the street rubbings for all of the roads. Afterwards they did the same with the sidewalk rubbings to create the sidewalks in their city. Anna and Quinn decided that all of the remaining space around the buildings and streets would be grass and so they worked together to carefully paint those areas green.
