Anna chose to do some yoga with Maya during her yoga class time, while the school did Valentine's activities. The practiced gymnastic moves and showed each other their movements and poses. Quinn chose to participate in Valentine's activities.

We worked with the ABC book of Yoga, working from the back of the alphabet. Each letter had poses for the letter and we practiced those poses and added others. We then used yoga flash cards to pick poses to do. Quinn was very distracted and upset when he arrived in class, due to some homework he needed to finish for another class. When I explained that we couldn't take time from yoga class to do his homework, he became agitated, cried and was disruptive. After about 20 minutes, Ms. Judie came into the class and we were able to resolve his issues and continue class. For the remainder of class, Quinn did participate fully in class. Anna participated fully in class and was very creative in her yoga poses.

Quinn and Anna took 2 tests about Christopher Columbus. They both got 100% on both tests. We looked up pictures of Columbus' 3 original ships and printed them for our upcoming project. We also printed a world map so that we can draw Columbus' 4 routes.
