Quinn, Anna and I worked in the computer lab viewing and copying pictures of George Washington. They completed their writing and gluing pictures of George Washington on their posters. Anna is displaying hers in the hallway and Quinn is taking his home.
Anna, Quinn and I did research on the computer about George Washington. They told me important pieces of information to write down. I showed them how to take notes, (Ie: no full sentences, jot down important information, etc.) They each chose a picture of Washington to copy. They started to make a poster about Washington based on the information that we gathered.
Students will subtract money and learn that subtracting money is the same as subtracting two- digit numbers. Discuss : think of the pennies as ones and the dimes as tens. complete two worksheets.
Quinn and Anna are continuing to work on their Native American projects. The project includes the various Native American homes and other subjects related to the Native Americans that they are interested in.
