They are working hard, but still is hard for them to switch immediately from subtraction to addition.
Anna and Quinn did a great job getting started. They got set up quickly, and made many of their first moves without any help. They are really improving at checking all options before they move. But the game finished relatively quickly and they lost all interest. The were very reluctant about playing the second game, and it showed in their play. We'll keep working on it.
Quinn- LA- Read and listened to nonfiction stories about animals. Then wrote a nonfiction story about a fly.
Wilson- Worked with welded sounds and wrote rhyming words for each welded sound.
Anna- Wilson- Reading and spelling real and nonsense three syllable words. Anna needs to practice her encoding skills. She did a fantastic job dividing the words into syllables.
Warmup- will consist of circuit interval training, 1 minute of exercise followed by Practicing segments of Block Routine 2. Review Block 1, Interval Includes: Laps, Squats, Leg raises & Stretching, round house kicks on the bag. Sparring Drill on the Xray Paper

Quinn was the most cooperative and did well through the whole session. Anna kept getting emotional and stopped trying. However by the end of the session she was fine.

Both Anna and Quinn did very well on their songs. We need to work on Quinn's hand position to eliminate dead notes from his chords. We are working on Anna's hand position (she tends to flatten her fingers out and drop her wrists) and her counting in a steady rhythm.
Students will solve two- question problems. They will select the operation to solve each question. Students will understand that sometimes the answer to one problem/question is needed to find the answer to another problem/question. Two worksheets to complete.
