Ana: Very good job on her assignment, and she did well learning the new song. We are still working on counting and rhythm, but it is improving.
Quinn: Nice job on making and switching his chords. We are also working on rhythm and paying attention to hand position.
Nouns and verbs, reading, played chess, drew pictures, played computer games. Anna read a story. Quinn drew pictures and played chess. Anna and Quinn did very well. Both did their work and were cooperative and respectful.
"My Daddy is a Pretzel" book; do poses along with book
Lesson Outline
We read and practiced poses in "My Daddy is a Pretzel" book. The book had ten poses, several of which were new to Anna and Quinn. They did very well with trying new poses and practicing ones they knew. We had about 10 minutes of fairly structured yoga ball time, 5 minutes of free play, and 5 minutes of relaxation with blankets, music and lavender lotion.

Quinn did very well today and had to be redirected much less than previously. He also worked hard to do poses properly. Anna, as usual, was cooperative and participated in all of our activities.
We are continuing our calendar exercises. We reviewed months of the year and seasons, and started discussing simple weather terms (it's hot, it's cold, it's sunny, etc.)
Use a balance to compare the masses of objects. Practice to measure objects with different masses. Teach how to use divisions on the scale to tell the object's mass.
Practice to read the planet Earth and Mars.

Anna and Quinn were very well behaved today and are really starting to pay attention to their moves before they make them. Quinn won the first game very quickly, which kind of took the wind out of Anna's sails. She tried to quit a couple of times, but was easy to get back into the game.
