Lesson Comments
This is the first lesson this year that is hard for both students, we used different methods to make it more understanding.
Quinn- Worked on the welded sounds am and an. He had a hard time spelling words with these sounds. He also had a very difficult time focusing.
Anna- Read sentences with words with 3 letter blends. Identified the blends. We started to test out of book 2, we will finish next week.
Discuss star words: hot ball of gases, different brightness, constellations, different colors, (the hottest stars are blue and the coolest stars are red) different sizes, give of light.

Very good participation during our debate about star words.
Anna and Quinn were very well behaved today and we played one of the best games yet. They did a great job of slowing down and looking at all the possible moves they have before the choose one. (with a little help) But this is huge progress from when we started.
Read books together: Read books together, allowed short personal time between reading. Anna and Quinn were very cooperative and involved. They asked related questions and both were very respectful.
Students will show the same amount of money using different sets of coins. They will understand that the same amount of money can often be represented using different combination of coins and bills.
