We continued with an exercise about north american and some of the important geographic features in the United States.

We are still working on months. We read a book about different months, and another about Day of the Dead.

We played a game about continents and maps in general

We created "tombs" and decorated them like is done in Mexico for Day of the Dead

We reviewed cat, down dog, bridge, wheel; added lion pose and corpse pose. We played the Halloween yoga game that we made last week with different Halloween poses. We took turns picking out the poses that we all did. Class ended with 5 minutes of free play and a relaxation period. Anna chose to read a yoga book (Piggies do yoga) for her free play. Quinn did active play with the balls. We all did a relaxation in corpse pose to end the class.

We had a fun Halloween Party! We played games and did crafts! Happy Halloween!

Practice to use the coins with different values. Activity: students were shopping and selling items they were using coins to pay items

Anna- Wilson - worked on three letter blends. Anna had a hard time hearing the str blend.
Independent work- long vowel sounds v-e.
Quinn- Wilson- Quinn did a good job reading words with welded sounds all, an and am. He worked on spelling these sounds. Quinn had a melt down today. He refused to do his work with me so I gave him independent work and he struggled to calm himself down. I took him a good 30 minutes to calm down and start his work.
