Students will count collection of coins that include half dollars, quarters, dimes, buckles, and pennies. They will learn that money amounts can usually be counted in different ways. When counting money , it is usually easier to start with the coin or bill with the greatest value.

Students have hard time to add coin's value and represent the amount. To make it better understanding we will have an activity, pretending that we are in the store and we have to pay the items.
A&Q- Created a flip book with all the High Frequency words they have learned to read and spell and ones they still need to practice.

We began the session by playing "show what you know" about geography. After our discussion, Quinn and Anna watched an interactive video segment that reviewed the different geographical regions and terms that they have been studying. The segment covered different types of bodies of land and water, as well as climates and regions.
The Day of the Dead review and body parts skeletons
Lesson Outline
Quinn and Anna reviewed what they learned about the Day of the Dead. They followed-up their review by continuing to work on skeletons that they are making as Day of the Dead decorations. While working on this craft, we discussed the different spanish words for the corresponding body parts on the skeletons.
