Quinn and Anna began their session by going to the computer lab to listen to some Spanish songs on the computer. They watched 2 different YouTube videos by Basho that had songs for the Spanish alphabet and the days of the week in Spanish. We sang along and Anna picked up the tune and words very quickly. Quinn was not as interested in singing but listened intently. As a follow-up, Quinn and Anna cut out the days of the week in Spanish and matched them to the Days of the week in English. We also came up with some helpful ways to remember which day was which. We ended the session by reviewing the days of the week and their different pronunciations.
