We went over and discussed the last chapter in "The Catcher in the Rye" that Joey had read for homework. Then we looked over and began to discuss several of the 15 analysis questions that I included on a review sheet as I felt they dealt with and covered concepts we had discussed as we read the novel. I then asked Joey to pick out a few questions that he wanted to discuss.

We read over and discussed my revision suggestions on Joey's first draft. Some of the things we discussed were writing for an audience, trite expressions, combining sentences and appropriate word usage. Joey began typing his second draft.
