Lesson Outline
We reviewed new vocabulary that Joey had worked with throughout the novel. He found and looked over cards that he had written for many of the words. Vocabulary will be one of the quizzes on the novel.

Lesson Outline
We read and discussed Chapter 24 and the character of Mr. Antolini and his worry that Holden was heading for a "fall." We reviewed and discussed analysis questions for Chapter 24 and then previewed guide questions for Chapter 25. We read and discussed the section in Chapter 25 where Holden felt that he would fall and disappear as he stepped off the curbs of streets.
