Assessment and location
Lesson Outline
Today, Abbey and I created a folder specifically for the course in order to keep a running tab on her course material as well as her progress in the course.I gave her a small assessment which dealt directly with terms and topics we discussed previously. We also discussed "location" and practiced longitude and lattitued by finding the location of Wellington Fl. Once we finished the lecture portion of the course, we continued our project based instruction. We provided the longitude and latitude lines on the map of Florida. We also created a cover for the project where she started drawing a picture of a horse, displaying the Equestrian society in Wellington.

Lesson Comments
Abbey was better today, mostly because we are working on a project that fits her interests. She was not really good at applying her knowledge per her assessment but I think this will change as she begins to understand the nature of the course.

Lesson Comments
Abbey was very difficult to motivate today. I tried incorporating some of her interests ( art and horses) into the lesson, but she would get off task and text on her phone. To her defense, we did experience some technological problems at one point, but her lack of motivation seemed to be a common theme.
