Most of this section is review of concepts covered in Algebra 2.
Now that we have finished the chapter on collecting data, we will be using the "Practice of Statistics" book as our primary text. Though we have already covered chapter 4, we are going back to chapter 1. The two books that we are using display the information in a different order.

Trevor did not complete the assignment that was due today. He turned in the assignment that was due yesterday (he locked his keys in his car yesterday and was unable to retrieve the assignment in time for class). He is not putting in the effort that is required to learn the concepts in precalculus. I had a stern discussion with him about the level of effort and the amount of time required to actually learn the material.
Trevor will be able to: 1) sketch graphs of simple polynomial functions; 2. use the leading coefficient test to determine end behavior; 3. find zeros of the function; 4. find extrema using a graphing utility
Trevor was not able to turn in his homework. It was in his car. He locked his keys in his car today. Because of the extenuating circumstances, I will accept the assignment tomorrow with no penalty.
