We practice the imperative by telling an imaginary German shepherd to sit, come, etc. We practice using the dative case by looking at the picture of a kitchen and saying where things are located in relation to other things. We talk about how frequently we go grocery shopping, cook, wash dishes, etc.
We pretend Michael won the lottery and is buying gifts for his friends and family, he says what he buys for whom, practicing the dative case. We look at a story in pictures in which Josef buys gifts for his family and Michael says what he buys for whom.

Michael gets a bit sleepy since it's quite warm in the room and it's after lunch. But, overall, it's a productive session.
I have a pen hidden in the room and have Michael find it by asking questions. We review the prepositions of location and the definite articles in the dative case.

We talk about the picture that accompanies the story "Aufraeumen", then we read the story. Afterwards we underline and translate some of the new words.
