Remington had a great art and movement class today. We played ping pong and badminton. Then we finished our lava shark drawing and danced to music. He is very interested in filling his sketchbooks with drawings and designs. I will keep providing him with sketchbooks, as this is a perfect way for him to develop creative and critical thinking.

During today's Enrichment lesson, Remington was presented with options for a learning activity and he opted for several Mathematics online activities which strengthen his knowledge and skill I selected the Arcademics online learning programs which are very graphics based and allowed Remi to practice Math Subtraction, Math Multiplication etc. in a dynamic learning environment. This extra practice clearly was engaging and very beneficial to him.

During today's Enrichment session, Volcanoes and lava rock were explained to Remington as a scientific process. He was very attentive to/excited about the follow up "CoolMath" online exercise which involved navigating underground escape gates and tunnels to avoid getting overheated by hot magma and lava.
First Enrichment class with the student. Short notice take over of this class session and used a "Learning to Fly"
online exercise to teach the student the mechanics of flight: Propulsion, launch angles and ramp height, gliders and small rocket propulsion etc.
Lesson Outline
The "Learning to Fly" exercise is a visual graphic display of flight success (or failure) using several key variables:
Acceleration, propulsion fuel quantities, ramp length and height, air resistance and glider/small rocket assist. The time duration and height of the flight earns $$$ rewards which can then be spent on various flight enhancing resources.
