We completed his worksheet on solving quadratic equations using the quadratic formula.

We completed his Ch. 8 Test Review Sheet. Seven of the nine problems were straightforward, but the last two contained curve balls that had additional concepts added to them that were not like the homework problems.

We completed an FSA Test worksheet on several concepts including inequalities, similar figures, proportions, cross-multiplication, solving equations, etc.

We went over concepts and did problems from Ch. 8-7 Factoring Special Cases and 8-8 Factoring by Grouping.

We worked on the Ch. 8 Factoring Quadratic Equations HW including x^2+bx+c and ax^2+bx+c.

We started looking at the concepts in Ch. 9 Quadratic Functions and Equations.

We did the Ch. 8 HW on special formulas for factoring: a^2-b^2, (a+b)^2, and (a-b)^2.

Hunter did the problems on his HW worksheet (special polynomial formulas) mostly independently. I am very happy with his improvement in attitude toward learning! ;-)
