Aubrey was given a text to read about social behavior. Once she read the section, we watched a TED talk by the great social scientist Franz de Waal, which discussed the basis of morality and included video of monkeys, chimps and elephants demonstrating an understanding of fairness and compassion. We also watched a short talk about how animals mourn the dead. Aubrey was tested on the themes presented in the text.

Aubrey completed section 1 of the assignment, took notes, and did the assessment questions. This was on the topic on Medieval Europe.

We covered and did problems from Ch. 10-1 The Pythagorean Theorem.

Aubrey began class by defining vocabulary words related to the story and then reading the next couple of progress reports. She then answered a question about IQ as presented by the characters in the story and based on he own opinion. We also spent time talking about various aspects of the changes Charlie is experiencing.
