Paige and I reviewed her notes from the Book of John and then outlined topics for her short persuasive writing assignment on how Jesus shows that He is God. We brainstormed three topics for her assignment and examples to support each topic. Paige then wrote a rough draft of her paper, and we revised it together.

Biology:
The geological eras -
Paige was given an assignment on the evolutionary eras. We used 5 meters of adding machine paper to mark out the history of the earth in ten million year segments. We marked each centimeter for the entire 5 meters. Paige investigated and discovered that the Precambrian era lasted about 4.5 billion years. We did the math together to figure out that 4.5 meters of the paper represented this, the first era. We did some more research and found out how many years made up each of the eras. Homework: go on-line and find images that depict the Precambrian era.

She did not have her work from her math teacher yet, so we went through the last topic they covered in class; special right triangles (30-60-90 and 45-45-90).
