The geological eras -
Paige was given an assignment on the evolutionary eras. We used 5 meters of adding machine paper to mark out the history of the earth in ten million year segments. We marked each centimeter for the entire 5 meters. Paige investigated and discovered that the Precambrian era lasted about 4.5 billion years. We did the math together to figure out that 4.5 meters of the paper represented this, the first era. We did some more research and found out how many years made up each of the eras. Homework: go on-line and find images that depict the Precambrian era.
