Today was the day we celebrated Jayne's birthday outside in the back courtyard.
The remaining time, we made something new to Arianna that she had never experienced:
Peanut Butter filled celery with raisins on top: The ANTS on a LOG.

The celebration was so much fun and everyone was socializing and having a great time. Arianna and Jayne were bonding so well, eating cake and singing, our class was cut short for baking so we took the remaining 15 mins and made the "alternative" quicker recipe. I had planned to originally make Guava filled Pastries.
I had the privilege of baking brownies with Arianna today! We read and followed the directions together. She did the majority of the work. While the brownies were baking we played a fun game of Headbands. Once the brownies were done we served them to the school!
Hershey's Chocolate and Vanilla Pudding/Fancy Etiquette
Lesson Outline
Arianna and I made two flavors of pudding by Hershey's brand.
She read the directions to me and measured out the cold milk.
We used the traditional whisk and also the "shaking" method.
We talked about etiquette and the proper way to display a dessert and when it's proper to use plastic versus glass. Why we used clear containers for our pudding holders.... to make it look
beautiful and layer the chocolate and vanilla to show the layers.
60: We created FLAN with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk, and milk...
We measured with different measuring devices and I showed her how
opening a new pack of sugar can be messy because the packaging is always filled with an extra teaspoon of sugar waiting to fall out all over your kitchen. We stirred and put the FLAN mixture into separate containers with caramel drizzled into them. They were delicious.
Quesadillas and different CHEESES and EGGS: hard-boiled/scrambled

Arianna and I started our lesson talking about EGGS.
We discussed how to make the PERFECT hard-boiled EGGS and how to scramble eggs, too.
We learned about the parts of an egg and if it floats it's OLD and if it sinks it's fresh!
We made quesadillas with mozzarella cheese. We learned what cream cheese is, as well as parmesan cheese and feta cheese.
Today Arianna made Christmas Sugar Cookies. She put the ingredients in a large bowl and mixed them till they were light and fluffy. Arianna then shaped the cookies into balls and rolled them in Christmas sprinkles. The cookies turned out super soft, tender, ultra chewy and have a delicious vanilla taste.
