Today Ben made mini cheesecakes. He crumbled up nilla wafers for the crust and mixed together cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla to make the cake. He spooned the mixture on top of the crust in a mini muffin pan and baked it for 15 mins. When it was done, he topped each mini cheesecake with cherries. They were delicious!
Today Gwendolyn made mini cinnamon rolls. She used crescent rolls, added cinnamon and sugar, rolled them up and cut them into 1 inch sections. She made the icing and iced them when they came out of the oven. After that, she went around to everyone in the school and offered them one of her delicious creations!
Today Ben made Pumpkin Pie Bites. We started by greasing and flouring our mini-muffin pan. Next we floured our cutting board so we could roll out our pie crust. We cut the pie crust to fit our mini muffin tins. Next, Ben combined the ingredients in the Kitchen Aid mixer for the pumpkin pie filling. He mixed it till it was the perfect consistency. We then filled the muffin tin and placed it into oven. Once the Pumpkin Pie Bites were cooled we added some whipped cream and cinnamon.
Today we turned pie dough into little cookies. We rolled out pie crust and used different shaped pie cutters. We then brushed them with milk and sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar. We baked them at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. They turned out very cute.

Today I taught Gwendolyn how to make a Hemp Bracelet. She picked the colors that she wanted to use. Once we got the hemp set up she picked up the weaving pattern very quickly. She finished her bracelet in record time and them made one for me. :)
