Sam was involved and engaged the entire 45 minutes and he turned his camera on for me. He submitted and we reviewed the three outlines of informational text that I assigned. I explained how we would combine information for all 3 texts and compose a well-developed paragraph on the dangers and innovations of plastic. We then read Of Mice and Men and discussed the dramatic FOILS, Lennie and George. Sam has extension questions on Of Mice and Men to complete. He was excellent!

After some initial confusion, Miss Elise was able to have Sam call and we connected online. Sam could not find his copy of Of Mice and Men and said it was probably packed in a box. We utilized the pdf online and covered concepts in the class outline. We popcorn read the first few pages of the novel and Sam is to answer the questions provided to guide his reading. He was engaged and attentive, responding to questions readily.
