Website information and resume. Finalized Trump Papers.Presented the rubric for a Process Paper.
Lesson Outline
Discussed Vlad's new website. Make minor changes on his resume. Because Vlad had under-developed paragraphs, we learned this motto: When I think I am done, I will spend a minute to ask myself, " What have have I left out?" Vlad finalized Trump Paper, printed it, and handed it in. Spent time on new writing assignment: The Process Paper. Went through every item on the rubric sheet. Vlad and I brainstormed possible topics (not all that easy for Vlad). Vlad to make up his mind on the topic and for Monday be ready to hand in the first draft of his Process Paper. Started Unit 8 vocabulary work.

Lesson Comments
Excellent skills and creative ability as designer of his own website.
Vlad needs even more writing assignments. I find it best when I literally walk him through the process of organizing and developing a paper. Thinking along with him gives him a real sense that the writing is happening as he is thinking. Crafting sentences not yet a smooth process for Vlad, but he seems dedicated to learning how to become a better writer.
