Eecho finished another unit, which means that the only items remaining to complete FLVS English 9 are several Discussion Based Assessments with his instructor of record and one word study exam.
I reviewed some problems that Eecho had on his computer including triangle inequality, congruent triangles, the Pythagorean Theorem, and angle relationships. We managed to solve many problems correctly. There was no homework.

Lesson Comments
Eecho is extremely well prepared and only needed help with a few problems.
Eecho and I progressed further on the research project, and ended the night with almost 1100 of the required 1500 words. Eecho knows what he needs to do to finish. I have asked Eecho at every meeting whether he was directed to cite his sources and he insists that he was not. I remain skeptical
Eecho has completed about 1/3 of the required 1500 words of his essay on Hunting in the Renaissance. I laid out the structure for him and together we fleshed out the essay. Eecho is extremely knowledgeable regarding hunting techniques and weaponry, but fails to appreciate his expertise. He is in a solid position to continue the work independently.
Eecho completed several assignments for FLVS. He identified the types of language, tone, mood, and meaning of several fragments from Martin Luther King's "Letter from a Birmingham Jail."
Eecho is uncertain about how to upload a particular assignment for FLVS and really must contact the teacher about that. He also has a 6 page research paper for History to do. He needs to refine his topic "hunting in the Renaissance" and sources because they focus on the medieval period (c. 476- 1300) when the topic at hand is the Renaissance (c. 1300-1700). I emailed him sources from Google books that have the term "hunting" highlighted.
