Welcome back project went well. We talked about what Jason did over the summer. We were so happy to reunite!

I am creating a memory game for the words missed (said, that, she, but, with, all)

Luke was only interested in his map, so he dictated a story about his travels. He asked that no other person read his book, so we made it a journal that only he and I would read.

Jason was asleep when I entered and remained fast asleep until right before recess. He woke up in time to practice writing his name (still capitalizing his ‘a’) and went to recess.

Jason read fluently with few mistakes.

Jason has great recall and moved through the choices for each section.

Jason came in very upset. Mom tried to calm him down, but he remained upset about the length of his day. We checked on the pollinator garden, and when we went back to the classroom, we brainstormed ways to address how he was feeling.
Jason knew his CVC words without hesitation.
