Sebastian was late to school today arriving at 11:35, leaving us 25 minutes for class. Sebastian was in the bathroom from 11:37 to 11:45. At 11:55, Mercer tried to pull Sebastian out for lunch early because he was let off. Since Sebastian and I were finishing up I told Mercer to go ahead and go to lunch, but he decided to go back and forth outside Sebastian's room. This caused Sebastian to get distracted because he wanted to know what Mercer was doing.

Two different people came to me and told me that Sebastian was hiding and when they said something to him, he ran away. He came to class about 11:10. At 11:11, he announced that he was going to the bathroom. He returned 13 minutes later.
Sebastian was given a writing prompt and tasked with responding by prioritizing his ideas, answering in complete sentences, and adding detail and reasons to support his answer. We discussed word choice, so as to make our language more engaging to the reader and he was afforded support with grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence and paragraph construction to improve his writing skills in accordance with standards. Sebastian was receptive and responsive to suggestions and editing his work, and was pleased with the final outcome of his efforts. He read his response out loud, with fluency and clear articulation.

Sebastian was refusing to listen through the majority of class, staying on his ipad or computer when I asked him to put them away. When I did get him to put it away and he would immediately pick back up and message people or watch videos on TikTok if I asked him a question.
