Dylan completed the non calculator portion of the SAT exam.

Dylan and I reviewed the vocabulary words from Units 19 and 20. Then we reviewed the reading comprehension text that Dylan did at home. I would like to work more on the reading comprehension. We then practiced three grammar and composition exercises. Dylan did great on these! Till next week!...

In this session, Dylan and I focused on all concepts related to quadratics. This was completed in preparation for an exam.

Dylan started by discussing the exercises he did in SAT vocabulary and the words he learned. Then we tackled some English Grammar and Composition. Dylan wanted more practice in this. Next, we actually had time for a Reading Comprehension passage. Dylan jumped back in after missing a week.

Dylan and I did timed reading comprehension packets and a few English grammar ones. He is definitely getting stronger in the reading comprehension! We need to work on the English grammar and convention exercises a bit more. I am so proud of Dylan. His vocabulary is expanding and he takes notes on all of the tips and skills we discuss.

In this session we completed Dylan's 1st semester review exercise.

Dylan and I did our usual practice. He is definitely getting stronger in these skills. He took home a passage and two more vocabulary chapters. We will meet again in the New Year.

In this activity, we first looked at his worksheet to prepare for the final exam. We mainly looked at and reviewed factor patterns and factor techniques used for trinomials. Dylan then completed test two for ACT test preparation.

In this activity, we worked on the final exam preparation for most of the time. We then continued to work on the third exam for SAT.

In this activity, we started with a review for his exam completing systems of equations and a review of matrix. In the second half we continued our work preparing for the SAT.
