Matthew was to read the remainder of Great Expectations and to continue working on his essay.

He was absent.

Cabo and I reviewed the vocabulary for Chapter 9.

He was then tested on all the words that he did not know immediately.

There are 7 words from this chapter that he should continue to study.

He is responsible to make a notecard for each of those 7 words and submit them by Friday.

Matthew worked on his research paper for English. He specifically worked on two particular body paragraphs.

Those paragraphs dealt with the class system from Victorian England and characters from the book that represent the different classes.

After listening to a tall tale that included new vocabulary words, Spencer completed sentences using the vocabulary words. He did very well on a mixed operations activity for math in which he needed to solve problems to progress through a maze. Spencer spent some time organizing his room so that he would start with a clear work space tomorrow.

Today's session focused on study skills. Cabo completed homework assigned in world history. He reported that his graphic arts, math, and Spanish homework had been completed.

Tristan completed homework such as math - practicing with addition, multiplication, and long division. Tristan struggled with 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication.

Spencer did well multiplying numbers 0 through 12. He would benefit from additional practice on multiples of 12. He confidently completed sentences using vocabulary words.

Today's class focused on Cabo's homework. Cabo reviewed his graphic Arts homework and reported that his gaming budget and unity tutorials due on 5/3 were completed on 4/27. He discussed his Math homework to study for tomorrow's test based on the law of sign and the law of cosign, reporting that it has been completed as well.

Cabo was guided through a lesson that dealt with the major grammar concepts of a traditional Florida Spanish 2 program. It also dealt with all of the vocabulary from chapter 9.

We discussed the preterite and imperfect. We discussed their uses. Cabo was shown the endings for the forms of the verbs in each of those conjugations.

Today's study skills class focused on Cabo's homework. The topics of his graphic arts assignments were gaming budget and unity tutorial 1 (movement). Cabo reported that all homework due on 5/3 was completed and turned in. Cabo reported that he has also completed the English SAT review, which was due on 4/27.
