Spencer completed his math homework and practiced his spelling words during the period.

Tristan completed homework such as, math - completing four division problems and continuing working on his Thanksgiving 'lapbook', sharing things for which he is thankful.

Spencer solved division and multiplication problems with numbers 1-12. Spencer completed open ended statements that included his vocabulary words. Additionally, he practiced his spelling words on the
whiteboard.

Matthew and I discussed time allocation strategy between now and the close of the semester grades.

We developed a slightly modified approach that we will implement in stages effective immediately in which we will spotlight classes wherein we expect disproportionate rewards for our slightly intensified efforts.

Matthew was also given time to study for his Chemistry test which is tomorrow.

Tristan completed homework such as, science - completing lesson 3 quiz; math - long division (this was difficult, so I modeled a problem for him), reading "The Skating Lesson" to introduce new vocabulary; and a writing activity - writing the letters 'i', 'u', 'w', and 't'.

Matthew worked on taking the Accuplacer today.

He did an excellent job.

His hard work has rewarded him handsomely.

Tristan completed homework such as, language arts - read "A Fine Coat" and review vowel pairs and magic 'e' with flashcards; writing activity - writing 'i', 'u', 'w', and 't'; math - two activities reviewing one-digit by one-digit multiplication, filling in missing factors, and completing division problems.

Tristan completed homework such as math - completing four long division problems. Tristan did wonderfully at answering the questions step-by-step.

Spencer did well dividing numbers by 6, 7, 8 and 9. He was tasked with choosing the correct answer to a question that included a vocabulary word. Spencer left early today, so we did not have a chance to complete his online reading homework.

Lesson for today: Matthew was reminded that he has another PERT test Tues. (tomorrow) morning. Matthew was instructed to work on HW from his other classes. If he completes the HW from other classes, he should work on finishing his Spanish work, his accuplacer practice test (he should grade his own test with the teacher) and write down his grade, or continue reading his business text.
