Tristan completed homework such as, math - completing basic facts word problems; reading the read aloud, "The Tin Man", reading short i words; and was tasked with completing a consonant blends cut & paste activity using the blends sp, sk, and sm. However, he did not complete this. He did excellent work with completing multiplication.
We released a few more butterflies. Spencer benefited from encouragement to get started on his homework. He did well completing a crossword puzzle using his spelling words. Spencer practiced solving division problems that involved the numbers 6 and 7. Additionally, Spencer listened to a story online and then answered questions about the text. He also read short passages on line and then completed sentences about the text.

I spent this time communicating with Lisa Hurley, Judie regarding Matthew's golf project.
Spencer enjoyed releasing some of the butterflies that have emerged and broke from their chrysalises over the weekend. He decided to do his spelling first. Spencer traced the words and then found each in a word search. He used skip counting to solve one-digit division problems. Spencer did well answering questions after listening to a story online.
Tristan completed homework such as, math - one-digit by two-digit multiplication and language arts - completing the sentence with the correct vocabulary word such as gather, complain, yank, surround, rapid and reading the story, "Kim and Wag". Tristan did a great job reading the story aloud. Tristan also did a wonderful job completing his homework today.
Spencer was very excited to have his birthday in school. He was happy that he was able to make pizza in school. The pizza making process was used to practice sequencing and using time order words. Nouns and verbs were reviewed. He was tasked with identifying nouns and verbs within given sentences. Some of his teachers did not assign homework because it was his birthday.
