Spencer worked continuously until he completed all of his homework assignments. His journal prompt was, 'Who is your hero? Why?'. Spencer utilized proper capitalization and end punctuation. He did well multiplying numbers by 6 and 7. Spencer matched spelling words with their descriptions. Additionally, Spencer wrote his spelling words with 93% accuracy.

Tristan completed homework such as, math - tic-tac-toe addition (completed with Mr. Marcus); language arts - reading aloud "The Pet Hen" and retelling the story. Tristan dictated as I wrote. Tristan wrote one sentence; science - completing day 4 of 'how do bacteria create cavities?', listening to a passage about what protects a tooth. Tristan matched the sentence with its picture. Tristan did great today! Awesome reading!

Spencer enjoyed working on an online supplemental language arts program. He read short passages and answered literal questions, matched pictures with words and phrases and completed sentences based on passages. Spencer wrote three sentences in his journal using correct capitalization and punctuation. He confidently completed word problems that involved one-digit multiplication. We played a game of '6 facts war'.

Tristan completed homework such as, math - four problems solving one-digit times four-digit multiplication; language arts - reading aloud, "The Lost Dog" and dictating and retelling the story as I wrote in his journal; and a prewriting activity - tracing lines in motion.

Right away Spencer wanted to see his homework so that he could decide in what order he would like to complete his assignments. Spencer was pleased with how well he did on a timed multiplication activity. Given a passage, Spencer was tasked with highlighting all the words that began with sh in one color and highlighting all words that ended in sh in another color. After writing the words on the bottom of the page, Spencer read the passage. Additionally, Spencer concentrated on a handwriting exercise.

Tristan completed homework such as, math - solving four math problems (completed with Ms. Debbie), language arts - reading aloud the story, "The Gum" and retelling the story using the words first, next, then, and last. Tristan dictated as I wrote in his journal.

Cabo used the class period to work on his history assignment, 'River Valley Civilizations.'
