Tristan and I spent our session playing a game of basketball. Tristan practiced following rules, problem solving, cooperation, keeping score, self-esteem, and working on strengthening skills.

Matthew worked on his Spanish Quiz Project.

All of his quizzes are due on Friday at 11:59pm.

The penalties for late work are severe for this project.

He did a good job of completing multiple quizzes and forming a strategy to finish the remainder of the quizzes.

Matthew made corrections on his exam. We focused on explaining why the correct answers were better than the other options.

Matthew then did his Chemistry homework (answering about 5 questions) and he started his English homework.

After choosing what homework he wanted to work on first, Spencer starting working without encouragement. He answered questions about technology for science, completed modeling division problems and read pages in a book he began reading in language arts. Spencer seemed to enjoy reading, 'Ready, Set, Scream!'. With leading questions, he summarized what he read.

Today Cabo reviewed homework from previous sessions and enjoyed free time after completion of his work.

Tristan was absent today. Session would have consisted of completing his homework.

Matthew did his chemistry homework. He then worked on creating a formula card for Geometry.

After a quick search for his cellphone, he worked on Spanish quizzes to finish out our session.

Tristan completed homework such as math - adding three, five digit numbers and subtracting five digit numbers; language arts - reading aloud, "Your Five Senses" and answering comprehension questions; science - dictating what he/she should do when given a safety scenario.

Cabo reviewed for math test.

Spencer chose the order in which he wanted to complete his homework. He read a series of sentences and highlighted the closed syllable words. Spencer practiced using the commutative property of multiplication. Additionally, he wrote three sentences about what he is proud of in his life. Complete sentences, capitalization and end punctuation continue to be stressed.
