Tristan did very well today completing his homework. At the beginning of our session, he stated that he caught a lizard today to keep in his room. He had a small tank in his room and wanted a bigger one to keep in there. I am glad Tristan is happy about this and it is making him enjoy it here. However, I feel that keeping lizards in student's offices will began to arise a problem.
Matthew and I discussed the value of setting personal deadlines that predate actual deadlines. He opted to set an earlier personal deadline for his Spanish Project that is due on Friday.
He will try to finish on Thursday instead.
He then worked on the Spanish Quiz Project. He was able to complete 5 quizzes. He must do 8 quizzes each day to finish by his personal deadline of Thursday.
Tristan completed homework such as, math - five-digit addition problems, practicing carrying. Tristan then completed reading independently, "Jog to the Dam". Tristan explained what happened in the beginning, middle, and ending of the story, while illustrating.

He was upset when he saw how many subtraction problems he had. After over 15 minutes of complaining and refusing to the math, he settled down and finished all problems in about 10 minutes.
Spencer practiced using a number line to skip count for multiplication. Given letters, Spencer was tasked with making words and arranging those words to create and write sentences.
