Sam and I continued our study of the novel. Sam had not completed the assigned reading, so we needed to read the chapter together. We read and discussed chapter 11 commenting on theme and author's purpose. We began reading the last chapter. Sam needs to finish reading it on her own for homework.
I reminded Samantha how to change a division of two rational functions by multiplying the first rational function by the reciprocal of the second. This process was made more complex by the fact that she was required to factor the products and use cross-cancellation in order to simplify the final answer. There was no assignment.
