Test on Quadratic Functions and inrtoduction to Polynomials
Lesson Outline
The plan was to finish the test on quadratic functions and then to introduce polynomial functions by discussing degrees of polynomials and standard form. Samantha has already finished part of the test on quadratic functions in a previous class but still needs to spend some additional time working on the test. Since Sam did not attend class during the Algebra II session time, I will present her lesson when I see her next week. There was no assignment.

Samantha is missing an extraordinary amount of time in my class. She may be able to finish the course material by the end of the school year, but she may have to make up the required hours of instruction during the summer.
Test on Quadratic Functions and inrtoduction to Polynomials
Lesson Outline
The plan was for Samantha to continue taking her test on quadratic functions and complex number operations. The test includes factoring and solving quadratic expressions and equations. She is close to finishing the test but did not attend class today so I will re-present this lesson the next time I teach her. There was no assignment.
Sam was out today and arrived 45 minutes late to her class last Wednesday. I don't believe she was ill today. Attendance seems to remain an issue for her or perhaps for her father.
Test on Quadratic Functions and inrtoduction to Polynomials
Lesson Outline
The plan was to give Samantha her test on quadratic functions and have her finish that. Afterward, I would be introducing polynomial functions and explaining degrees of polynomials and standard form. If time permitted, I was going to work with linear factors of polynomials. Since Samantha was not present today, the plan will have to be introduced at our next lesson together. There was no assignment.
