Chris initiated the session by sharing the he was "bummed" that "we missed last session." He was very much wanting to discuss his trip to New York last week. He was very inquisitive today, as he wanted clarification regarding "fancy words " and "brain stuff." This afforded an excellent opportunity to expand into more novel vocabulary and utilize the familiar tool of semantic mapping.
Topic shifting was strong however, and familiar cues and supports were provided. Speaker -speaker overlap was notable today, however, Chris was mindful of the breakdowns.
As the session came to a close, Chris was eager to rapidly discuss the aspects of peer relationships that have been a focus in recent weeks. This will be revisited once more next session.

Noah then completed a quantitative concepts activity in which he discriminated many versus few in a field of 2 visual answer choices. He completed the activity with 73% accuracy. After, Noah was asked to label spatial concepts displayed in a picture scene shown. He completed the activity with 83% accuracy. Luke had a difficult time this morning. He was emotional for most of the session wanting his mom. We worked through it. We also started to work on how he communicates and the tone he uses. We worked on re-phrasing different comments made by him. He was very receptive to this. Today we used the cue 'let's try that again' to work on him re stating his phrase. In addition, we worked on some transitions today in and out of the classroom. He did an excellent job coming back into the classroom after walking outside.

Chris once again initiated the session with eagerness. He immediately shared that he has "made a decision" about producing "YouTube" content. He elaborated with strong linguistic organization, and increased attention to detail that supported his "narrative." Periods of "repeated catch phrase" usage diminished following the provision of familiar cues and supports. Topic transitions were subsequently supported with familiar cues as well. Speaker-listener reciprocity was characterized by increased cycles of exchange and increased use of contingent comment. Predicting outcomes and inferencing remain a strong focus each session as well. Strong session once again.

Luke had a great session today. He worked hard. He listened to 4 stories and answered comprehension questions about them. 2 of the stories were 'inferencing' stories. Luke did a nice job listening to these stories while he moved around his classroom. Luke was slightly distracted toward the end of the session, but did a nice job staying in his classroom.
