Richard had a great session today. He worked on TH sounds in conversation with a peer today. He also worked on multiple meaning nouns. He was given the definition of the words and then read the other meanings of the word to fill in. Richard also worked on a story re-tell using correct grammar.
Richard had a great session. We worked on his science homework from his class that I subbed and applied it to speech by working on articulation, listening comprehension, and following multi step directions. Richard did a great job with this activity.
Chris was eager for the session to commence, as he rapidly initiated conversation by stating, "Ms. Lynne, I have so much to talk about today." He was very much wanting to discuss peer relationships once again. This has been a focus of recent sessions. He began to share details and scenarios that were at the forefront of his mind. This afforded an excellent opportunity to expand upon aspects of self awareness, perspective taking, "flexible thinking," and additional concepts adapted from the "Social Thinking" literature. Review of "personality and character traits," as well as aspects of personal interests, talents, and skills were also highlighted. Instances of self reflection were noted to follow, with subsequent use of inferencing and problem solving. Conversational reciprocity was noted to be characterized by increased cycles of exchange and increased consistent topic maintenance. Strong session today.

Noah then completed a quantitative concepts activity in which he discriminated many versus few in a field of 2 visual answer choices. He completed the activity with 80% accuracy. Lastly, Noah was asked to identify spatial concepts in a field of 3 answer choices. He completed the activity with 80% accuracy. A: Increases/stability displayed across POC goals. Luke had a great session. He worked on a short comprehension story and was asked to re-tell the story and answer 4 questions (3/4). Luke did a nice job. Luke then worked on L sound during the session today 25/30 with minimal cues. Coordinated with OT today to begin carry over of Zones of regulation.
Richard had a great session today. He worked on describing the characters, setting, conflict, and the resolution in stories/ short films.
Richard did an excellent job being able to retell important events. He focused very well. While working on this activity today, he also worked on his TH sound. 95% accuracy with minimal cues.

Richard had a great session today. He worked on providing definitions for age appropriate vocabulary 6/6 and 5.5/6 with no cues. Richard then listened to an 8 paragraph story and answered 7/7 questions about the story correctly. Lastly, Richard worked on an antonym activity that was very challenging. We will continue this as some of the higher level vocabulary are tricky for him.
