After our review of greetings, colors, numbers, days of the week, seasons and weather, I taught Zeta how to describe herself. We began with age - asking "how old are you", and answering with "I am xx years old.” We then spoke about eye color. "What is your eye color"; “my eye color is xxx”. We spoke about the age and eye color of Zeta's siblings, and close friends. She seemed to enjoy this conversation quite a bit.

Dutch began by reviewing all the colors in the room with me. Dutch then used the new textbook, to read the culture section regarding all the countries in which French is spoken. He then went onto reading the dialogue of 4 students. This section contained the greetings, numbers, days of the week, seasons, and weather which we have been practicing. We ended the session with 3 songs to reinforce weather, days, and numbers - from youtube.

Dutch and I greeted each other in French; identified the colors on his toy race cars on his desk; counted from 1 to 20 in French; repeated the days of the week, the seasons,and weather conditions. I gave Dutch 2 activity pages from his 2 textbooks to reinforce the seasons and weather conditions. He has a good French accent.

Review greetings, numbers 1 thru 20, days of the week... Using textbook teach time... Have Dutch repeat all vocabulary. Use a clock and set different times of the day and have Dutch say the time in French.
