Matthew and I held a 10 minute conversation. I did not speak a single word in English during this time.

Matthew was given choices in the conversation and was required to respond appropriately. We discussed Argentina.

Matthew and I then reviewed the conditional conjugation in Spanish using English to converse. His understanding continues to grow.

We read his paragraph from last class. He added more to it during this class.

He then watched more of our film.

Bella was given a brief review on the conditional.

She used the conditional to continue to write her paragragh. She did a marvelous job of including variety into her paragraph.

She then studied for her verb test. She should study a little more to get the best grade possible.

She then researched Argentina in Spanish. As we found sentences in the conditional, we pointed them out and translated them.

Jayne was given her clay sculpture and instructed to use oil and some of the clay tools to smooth out her character. Jayne was instructed to place the sculpture in the oven and bake it at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

Bella was taught about 4 types of irregulars in the conditional tense. She was shown examples sentences. She wrote sentences for each type in the conditional.

Bella then informally researched information about Argentina and what it would be like to visit that country.

She wrote 4 sentences of a paragraph discussing her experience moving to Florida and what she would do if a friend came to visit her here.

Matthew was taught about 4 types of irregulars in the conditional tense. He was shown examples sentences. He wrote sentences for each type in the conditional.

Matthew then informally researched information about Argentina and what it would be like to visit that country.

He then wrote a 7 sentence paragraph about what he would do if he were to visit Argentina.

We then watched about 8 minutes of the film.

Matthew learned about the conditional tense in English and in Spanish.

He was shown examples in English. We discussed how the word would is used in English to express this tense.

Matthew was shown a conjugation chart for the conditional in Spanish. We discussed how we use a conjugation to express the idea of the conditional in Spanish. Matthew was shown example sentences and asked to write and translate sentences in the conditional.

We then read about Argentina's geography in Spansih. Matthew did a great job.

Today we studied irregular nouns. Then he completed some verbal exercises to practice the nouns and also his pronunciation.

Bella was informed about her Essay Assignment which will serve as a significant part of her final exam grade.

She will be required to write a substantial amount about a chosen topic and showcase a variety of the tenses that she has learned up to this point in Spanish.

She then was taught a lesson about the conditional wherein she was shown conjugation charts and examples, given a verbal explanation, shown sentences, and asked to create her own sentences.

Bella was to read about the group called the "The Dissapeared."
