Absent - Bella and I were to continue translating songs for her upcoming project.

Matthew was to be helped in preparing for his Train and Restaurant Test.

Bella continues to approach Spanish through a musical lens.

Today, she was asked to work under the assumption that she will be singing a song in Spanish for the school talent show (possibly with her father).

She was asked to look for different songs that she may want to sing.

She chose Despacito as a possible candidate. We worked to translate the first verse.

She did quite well with an aided translation. Though she did comment on how corny the lyrics were now that she understood them.

Then we listened to other candidates.

Matthew reviewed for his test for about 10 minutes.

He then took his test.

He performed very well on the test.

We then graded the test together.

Great job, Matthew.

Matthew and I reviewed the expressions of gratitude. He used the expressions that we studied in our last session to draft a letter to send to the presenter on our trip.

The last idea that Matthew wished to express was a little complicated for his current command of Spanish. So, I helped him to write the sentence and then explained it to him.

Matthew was given some time to study for his Spanish test.

We started a Christmas activity, where we added new vocabulary related to the holiday.
