Avery confidently matched the name of a body part to that body part on a picture of a girl. We reviewed what body part each sense uses. We were about to look at different objects and determine what sense(s) would be used for each object when Avery's mom picked her up. She is engaged and always ready to learn.

Avery's mother picked her up early. She told Nicole that I should put in for the 30 minutes.
Avery and I read the book 'Seven Little Hippos' together which involved counting groups, adding two groups, and taking away from a larger group using hippos. Then, we practiced number recognition and number comparisons up to 10 with a game of war which was Avery's first time playing.
Avery did well completing a color by number activity with numbers from 1-4. She enjoyed a Christmas themed, following directions activity that involved direction words and colors.
Avery created a snowman while practicing her shapes; circle, square, rectangle, and oval, after which I read a holiday story titled, “ Snappy’s Christmas” which is about a snowman.
