During today's session, I reviewed the results of the WH Final Exam with David. He was given a comprehensive review for this test as well as 2 days to complete and access to all of the course notes. Although David is very bright, pleasant, and wise beyond his years, he still did not perform at the expected (and hoped for) high level that he is capable of. He admitted to not studying as much was necessary to score higher, and I believe that this discussion was an important "life lesson" to give more effort in order to achieve at a much higher level.
David and I spent the period talking about different fitness activities we can do over the summer.
We included workouts with just our body weights as well as things we can do with little or no equipment.
David worked on the next two portions of his exam essay. He is doing a great job with the essay though we did simplify it slightly to make it easier for himself.
