Ben worked on sequential order of events of chapter 4 and character analysis of Zaphod Beeblebrox. He completed section 2 & 3 of Fluent Word Inventory.
Kaitlin completed a Newsela article this morning. It was entitled, "Florida School Welcomes Emotional Support Animals" Kaitlin and I discussed the article after she read it. We both tended to agree that the skin condition of psoriasis is not necessarily a particularly valid reason to bring a python snake to school, but we both supported the initiative which allows students to bring in their emotional support animals to alleviate student stress - and who is to say what type of animal or amphibian offers support to individuals. Kaitlin shared her opinions freely and articulated her rationale well. Kaitlin stated "I should bring my friend's pony to the Batt school!" We both got a chuckle out of envisioning that scenario.
