Cabo checked for the work for which he is responsible.

Cabo continues to be excited about becoming a content creator.

Today he researched what it will take to upload an actual video. He found out that he would need to verify an account. It is a 24 hour process. We discussed his cousin's channel and some of the strengths and weakness of channels that he has watched.

We discussed the two competing forces of urgency and quality when completing projects.

We checked the assignments due for the day. Cabo informed me that Chemistry was his only homework.

Cabo transitioned well to the homework and then lost interest.

I did the Chemistry assignment alongside Cabo.

We finished the assignment. We slightly reorganized his room. We initiated a folder system for him to try, in an effort to organize his school work.

Cabo checked the work posted by his teachers.

We used critical thinking skills to solve riddles.

Cabo was given a choice between executing service at the school, researching his YouTube project, and contacting his teachers regarding deeper understanding of additional exercises. He chose to research. He looked in the monetization requirements for a YouTube channel. Watch time: 4000, Subscribers 1000.

He also theorized ways to acquire subscribers.

Cabo was allowed to choose between a spiral bound notebook, 3-ring binder, and two-pocket folder to organize the work he will put into this endeavor.

Cabo had a slow start today. Rather than force the issue, I was patient and tried to listen to Cabo while checking with him frequently.

He has a take-home chemistry test due soon. He has not completed it. We decided to message his teacher before the assignment is due to ask for help.

We worked on tidying Cabo’s classroom.

We checked his homework due.

We celebrated the completion of the Chemistry take home test.

Cabo identified two assignments to complete. He worked on Spanish note cards entering them into a website that generates and tracks notecards.

Cabo identified the deadline for his take-home Chemistry test.

We discussed possible types of organizers.

Cabo had mentioned that he is interested in running a YouTube channel with the content being gaming.

So, after we checked for outstanding assignments, we discussed some of the details of what would be required to run a successful channel.

We identified needed equipment, the landscape of the current Youtube video market, and also what skills and fields of knowledge he would need to acquire.

He identified a need to study Streaming Ad revenue sources, YouTube algorithms, methods for publishing content, and gaps in the current video offerings.

Jonathan spent 15 minutes doing I-Ready with teacher supervision.
We then did a lesson on the shape of physical objects in which we built a bridge from paper.

Cabo searched to see if he had any pending assignments.

We dicussed a variety of possible careers for Cabo. We searched for lists of careers. One-by-one we read a list of over 100 professions. We also looked at uncommon careers.

He seemed most interested in technology related fields. A spark of joy did come to his eye when we discussed the idea of being a content creator on Youtube.

We decided to keep considering other professions while also looking more closely at what it would take to be a creator.

Cabo decorated a bag in preparation for the school festivities.

He took a very abstract and allegorical approach. He used nontradional colors (in his words, "police blue, convict orange") and duct tape. He created improvised symetrical patterns.

We discussed his artistic choices.
