Today he researched what it will take to upload an actual video. He found out that he would need to verify an account. It is a 24 hour process. We discussed his cousin's channel and some of the strengths and weakness of channels that he has watched.

Cabo wants to launch his channel within the week.
We have discussed the importance of parent permission in this endeavor.
I have encouraged him to talk to his parents before the end of the week and before he launches his channel.
When asked, Cabo said that he believes his parents will be enthusiastic and supportive of his desire to launch a channel.
We used critical thinking skills to solve riddles.
Cabo was given a choice between executing service at the school, researching his YouTube project, and contacting his teachers regarding deeper understanding of additional exercises. He chose to research. He looked in the monetization requirements for a YouTube channel. Watch time: 4000, Subscribers 1000.
He also theorized ways to acquire subscribers.
Cabo was allowed to choose between a spiral bound notebook, 3-ring binder, and two-pocket folder to organize the work he will put into this endeavor.

Cabo had mentioned that he is interested in running a YouTube channel with the content being gaming.
So, after we checked for outstanding assignments, we discussed some of the details of what would be required to run a successful channel.
We identified needed equipment, the landscape of the current Youtube video market, and also what skills and fields of knowledge he would need to acquire.
He identified a need to study Streaming Ad revenue sources, YouTube algorithms, methods for publishing content, and gaps in the current video offerings.

It seemed very beneficial to have a variety of activities available to keep Jonathan's attention.
Cabo searched to see if he had any pending assignments.
We dicussed a variety of possible careers for Cabo. We searched for lists of careers. One-by-one we read a list of over 100 professions. We also looked at uncommon careers.
He seemed most interested in technology related fields. A spark of joy did come to his eye when we discussed the idea of being a content creator on Youtube.
We decided to keep considering other professions while also looking more closely at what it would take to be a creator.
